STS Recruitment was founded in 1979 to supply engineering staff, primarily at professional level (BSc) to the Aerospace and Defence industries. From that date to the present time STS has continued to develop and expand into other markets. From the early 1980s the customer base was enlarged to take in the rapid growth in Electronics, Real Time Embedded Software and other high technology industries.

By utilising recruitment and technical knowledge of working within the high technology markets STS has been able to offer clients and candidates a more focused, effective and quality service by understanding the underlying technologies involved.

This diversification into other high technology markets enabled STS to recruit for many of the leading electronics and technology companies involved in a very diverse product range including Optics, Semiconductor, IC and ASIC and communications.
